Problem and driving question

As our world has become more global, we have more and more opportunities to meet people from other countries and travel to new places. We listen to different languages, we see people dressed differently and discover dishes that we did not know before. However, most of the time we do not have the possibility of knowing these cultures in greater depth, and we only keep a superficial idea or stereotype. In this framework, how can we create an experience where people really get to know and connect with the culture of others?

Project

Students will work in groups to create their own World Fair. Each group will choose a country, and investigate its history, culture and customs. The result of the research will be presented through a board designed by the students, as well as a brochure with recommendations for tourists who wish to visit the country.
